James Harden is rolling in dough after his latest contract extension was confirmed.
News broke on Twitter yesterday of the massive deal that was inked by the Houston Rockets star, totaling $228 million over four years. The team was more than willing to lock up its marquee scorer long-term, with a conversation that sports pundits imagined went something like this:
Fans also took to Twitter to express their amazement at the size of the deal. Another key factor in this deal is that there's no state income tax in Texas, so Harden will presumably get to keep the vast majority of that new NBA money deal. He's Scrooge McDuck diving probably as we speak.
