Knicks lift ban after meeting with Silver, MJ.

Just days after New York Knicks owner James Dolan banned Charles Oakley from Madison Square Garden, called him an alcoholic and bashed him on "The Michael Kay Show" he has had a change of heart.

One day removed from a meeting with NBA commissioner Adam Silver and Oakley at the league's offices, Dolan has agreed to lift Charles Oakley's MSG ban, according to The Undefeated's Mike Wise.

In a statement released by Adam Silver last night, Dolan expressed hope that Oakley would be his guest at MSG in the near future, but nobody expected it would be this soon.

However, Oakley has told the New York Daily News that an immediate resolution wouldn't be easy because “some of the things that were said about me hurt.”
