The 10 priciest AJ 1s.

With all of the hype surrounding the unveiling of the "Banned" Air Jordan 31 and the return of the "Banned" Air Jordan 1 this September, it's a perfect time to see just how much the 1s you've had stashed in your collection are worth. And although a deadstock pair of the "Banned" 1s from 2011 sell for an average of $2,025, they still aren't the most valuable Air Jordan 1 to have in your collection.

According to StockX, the stock market for sneakers, there's no better Air Jordan 1 to own than the glossy, patent leather, "Black/Metallic Gold" colorway which last released in 2013. Those kicks retailed for a mere $140 three years ago, and a deadstock pair sells for an average of $2,135.

In total, three of the top 10 most valuable Air Jordan 1s are of the black/red aka "Bred" variety, while two separate "Royal" 1s also make the cut, both of which carry a re-sale price tag of roughly $1,000.

Additionally, you can make some major coin if you've got a deadstock pair of the limited edition "Doernbecher" Air Jordan 1 from 2008, or the exclusive "Fragment" collab.

If you're an avid Air Jordan 1 collector looking to see how much your collection is worth, or if you're simply looking to get rid of some pairs for a little extra cash, check out each of the 10 most valuable Air Jordan 1s to have in your collection in the gallery above, and head over to StockX to see the full list.
