Bill O&#8217;Reilly has shown a lack of logic throughout his career, most thoroughly in his declaration that you &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HABNe7_D22k" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">can&#8217;t explain</a>&#8221; the rising of the tide. Today, he&#8217;s made yet another unsubstantiated claim, this time targeting one of his favorite scapegoats &#8212; rap music.
When discussing the recent decline of Christianity, particularly with youths, O&#8217;Reilly suggested that the popularity of hip-hop among the demographic may be to blame. &#8220;The rap industry, for example, often glorifies depraved behavior,&#8221; he said. &#8220;That sinks into the minds of some young people &#8211; the group that is most likely to reject religion&#8221;.
What Bill refrained to acknowledge was that some of the biggest artists in rap &#8212; namely <a href="/profile/KendrickLamar" class="text-word" target="_blank" >Kendrick Lamar</a> and <a href="/profile/KanyeWest" class="text-word" target="_blank" >Kanye West</a> &#8212; have made a point of incorporating Christianity into their music; something you generally won&#8217;t find happening in other genres unless the artists actively define themselves as Christian acts.
