Lancey Foux drops off a double whammy reflecting the current state of the world.

The UK's rising star Lancey Foux is far from your conventional rapper. He's steadily been bubbling up in the underground though he has caught the attention of a few heavy hitters. In 2019, he had a stand-out performance on Skepta's album Ignorance Is Bliss. His auti-tuned vocals stretch like silly putty over equally unorthodox production.

This week, he released a pair of singles reflecting the current social climate. Lancey Foux came through with "RELAX !i" and "TIME FOR WAR" this week which reflects on the social injustices that are occurring not only in the U.S, but worldwide. Following the murder of George Floyd, protests in the States spawned BLM demonstrations in the UK as well as demanding justice and equality. Lancey Foux takes both tracks as moments to show his solidarity and support for the Black Lives Matter movement as he reflects on the injustices he's faced in his life as a Black man.
