El-P drops off another piece of his upcoming "Capone" score, the powerful and unsettling "Mama's Hurt."

El-P's a man of many talents -- producing bombastic, dusty, filthy bangers for Run The Jewels, spitting sharp dystopian bars, and film scoring are among the many feats lining his resume. And the funny thing is, he seems to excel at all of them. Today, El Producto took a moment to highlight some of the tracks on his score for the Tom Hardy led Capone flick. The first of which, "This Is Al There Is," can be checked out over here. On the other hand we've got "Mama's Hurt," a song that backdrops El's favorite scene in the upcoming movie.

"Al wanders through a violent dream of his past and it all comes to a bloody peak," he explains, detailing the track to Rolling Stone. "This is one of the most surreal and ultimately sinister-sounding pieces in Capone." The song itself lives up to the description, with many ominous synthesizers creeping in like invasive dark thoughts. It's a testament to El's ability to convey emotion through a given instrument, a skill that requires both heavy patience and creativity.

Check out the unsettling yet at times beautiful "Mama's Hurt," and look for the entire Capone score to arrive this Friday, May 29th.
