Lesnar getting his Universal Championship rematch at Super ShowDown?

After unexpectedly winning the "Money In The Bank" briefcase on Sunday night, Brock Lesnar can go after any WWE title he chooses, whenever he chooses. That said, it looks like Lesnar may not even need to cash-in his MITB contract in order to get a title opportunity.

Prior to Lesnar's return at the Money In The Bank PPV, Wrestlevotes reported that WWE was already planning a Wrestlemania 35 rematch between The Beast Incarnate and current Universal Champion, Seth Rollins, at the upcoming "Super ShowDown" event in Saudi Arabia.

Rollins took the championship from Lesnar at Wrestlemania 35 on April 7, and Lesnar has not appeared on WWE programming since. Until last night, that is.

It remains to be seen if Lesnar will have to use his MITB contract, or if the WWE will simply bill this as a championship rematch. Either way, it looks like Lesnar vs Rollins is on tap for the June 7 PPV - and we expect to learn more on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw.

In addition to the rumored Lesnar vs Rollins bout, WWE has already revealed that Goldberg and the Undertaker will be facing each other for the first time ever at the "Super ShowDown" PPV. Goldberg, 52, has not competed in WWE since dropping the Universal title to Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 in 2017. The Undertaker, 54, has popped up here and there over the last couple of years, with his most recent appearance coming at the April 8 edition of Monday Night Raw immediately following Wrestlemania 35.

WWE has also announced Triple H vs Randy Orton and a 50-Man Battle Royal — the largest in WWE history. WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and AJ Styles are also scheduled to compete at Super ShowDown.
