Alley Boy is a recognizable name in the Atlanta rap scene, due to his continued pursuant status. His tenure with Atlantic Records saw him fulfill his duties in a quiet and resolute manner, before packing his bags for Duct Tape Ent, where he currently resides on a semi-permanent basis. His latest project AlleyGod took a full-year to whittle down.

In fact, Alley's musical output for 2018 accounts for three individual records, and few spot appearances as a featured artist, including the deluxe version of Edgewood, put out by DTE labelmate - none of which stand up to his latest single, "Fish Fry," performed in tandem with fellow Zone 6er 21 Savage. On "Fish Fry," 21 and Alley Boy speak on the principles of their upbringing, as dictated by their elder classmen.

And though, Alley Boy and 21 Savage align so perfectly, this venture wouldn't have happened, if not for a last-minute suggestion from his A&R. After spending a year on the sidelines, Alley Boy wasn't to let his self-imposed January 10th slip away - even at the expense of a "prop me up" feature. Give "Fish Fry" a listen and hit us with your thoughts.

Quotable Lyrics:

Tell me it's a fish fry, it's a fish fry
Draco spittin that big fire, spittin that big fire
Fuck them R.I.P. shirts, fuck them t-shirts
Three shots for the real stoppers.

-Alley Boy
