Ball is not a fan of Walton whatsoever.

It's been an odd season for the Los Angeles Lakers. They started the season with LeBron James and were doing pretty well in the Western Conference until he went down with a groin injury on Christmas Day. Since then the Lakers have been struggling and now the team is in talks with the New Orleans Pelicans so they can acquire Anthony Davis. One of the names involved in that trade is Lonzo Ball, whose outspoken father, LaVar, says he doesn't want Lonzo in New Orleans. Ball also went on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Doug & Wolf to say that Lakers coach Luke Walton is not a good leader.

"The Lakers gave my boy that losing attitude. If you look at my boys, the one thing they do do is win … my boys don’t lose too much," Ball explained. "When he got to the Lakers -- Luke Walton was the worst coach ever for Lonzo because he had a losing mentality. They’ve been losing for three years. That’s how you develop losing.”

While on the show, LaVar explained that he'd rather see his son play with the Phoenix Suns because they have a lot of young players and have the potential to be great. Ball always wanted Lonzo to play for the Lakers though so he's clearly upset about all of the trade rumors.

"Like I told them before, if you trade my son, it’ll be the worst thing you ever did for your franchise, I guarantee it," LaVar said.

The NBA trade deadline is Thursday, February 7th so stay tuned for any updates.
