Deandre Ayton was taken #1 overall by the Phoenix Suns.

Tonight is the night. The 2018 NBA Draft is taking place right now in NYC at the Barclay’s Center, where the top collegiate basketball players look to fulfill their childhood dreams to play in the NBA.

With the Phoenix Suns kicking things off with #1 pick, they took center Deandre Ayton from Arizona with no surprise, meanwhile the Kings followed up with the #2 pick and took Marvin Bailey III out of Duke as expected. Luca Doncic went #3 to the Mavericks and the Grizzlies took Jaren Jackson Jr. out of Michigan State.

Surprisingly enough, Trae Young went #5 to the Atlanta Hawks, but there was a trade shortly after that's why. The Hawks traded the rights to Luca Doncic to the Dallas Mavericks for Trae Young and a 2019 first round draft pick.

Check out the results (below) and we’ll continue to update the picks as they roll in. What's been the biggest surprise so far?
