Ewing Athletics has announced a special edition sneaker release in celebration of the anniversary of Big Pun's 1998 album, "Capital Punishment."
The limited edition sneakers, designed in conjunction with the Rios family, will drop on April 28th, exactly 20 years to the date that Pun's album dropped. The shoes come decked out in yellow, drawing on inspiration from the color scheme of the album artwork, and feature Big Pun branding on the tongue and heel.
The "Big Pun" Ewing 33 Hi, and matching chalkline jackets, will release at 1pm on 4/28 at a special event at BX Sports in the Bronx, where Big Pun himself used to shop. Additional pairs of the "Big Pun" Ewing 33 Hi, ranging in size from 5-16, will also be available via EwingAthletics.com on that same day for $140 each.
