A wall mural of Pennywise the clown from the movie 'IT' painted by Scott Marsh is seen on Cleveland street wall in the suburb of Chippendale on August 28, 2017 in Sydney, Australia. The movie 'IT' based on the 1986 horror novel by American author Stephen King is set for release in cinemas on September 7th.

Pennywise returns.

The powers that be in Hollywood knew what they were doing when they decided to split IT into two movies. In the original movie, and the Stephen King novel it's based on, the children of Derry battle Pennywise and then return as adults to finish him off. The recent adaptation of IT only focused on the life of the children, but the sequel is set to tie up the story and rule the box office yet again.

IT: Chapter 2 stars Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, James McAvoy, Andy Bean, and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise. Now all grown up, the Losers' Club will return to Derry to confront their childhood nightmare once and for all. Speaking with IndieWire, Bill Hader claims that the sequel will be an emotional roller coaster. “It’s very emotional. The cast is amazing,” he revealed.  “It’s really scary obviously, but I was surprised at how emotional it was. It’s really a story about these people and this kind of trauma that they all went through.”

Director Andy Muschietti took to Instagram to announce that IT: Chapter 2 has finished shooting. "IT chapter 2 was an 86-day roller coaster ride," he wrote as the opening to a length caption. "Never had so much fun making movies as this one." IT: Chapter 2 arrives in theaters next September.
