The UFC 229 main event is officially a go.

Any concerns about Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov not making weight for the UFC 229 main event title fight can be put to rest. The undefeated Russian champ was the first to step on the scale moments ago at the official weigh-in, checking in at a perfect 155 pounds. McGregor weighed in at 145.5.

Khabib has had issues with making weight in the past. He bailed out of his UFC 209 fight against Tony Ferguson after being hospitalized while trying to cut weight, and also had issues at UFC 160, when he was 3.5 pounds over the 155-pound limit when facing Abel Trujillo.

Khabib, Conor and other fighters on the UFC 229 card will also weigh-in again later tonight at 8 pm ET for the live ceremonial video stream and faceoff.

According to Bovada, Khabib is still favored against the 30-year old Irish superstar. When the bout was announced back in August, Khabib opened as a -200 favorite, while McGregor was listed at +160. With the championship fight now just days away, Khabib is still predicted to retain but his odds have dropped to -160, while Conor is now a +150 underdog.

In addition to McGregor vs Khabib, the UFC 229 co-main event will also feature former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson (-360) against Anthony Pettis, who is listed as a +270 underdog.

Other fights on the UFC 229 main card, scheduled to get underway at 10pm ET, include a Women's Strawweight bout between Michelle Waterson and Felice Herrig, a Light Heavyweight fight featuring Ovince Saint Preux and Dominick Reyes, and Derrick Lewis vs Alexander Volkov in the Heavyweight division.
