The movie Green Book stars Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen, and tells the story of a Black classical pianist who goes on a tour of the segregated south. The film highlights an interracial friendship that thrived during a time when togetherness was the only weapon that could defeat the barriers separating people by color. Aloe Blacc came through with the single "I Count On Me" for the film, and now, he's dropped off visuals.
"I Count On Me" is an inspiration R&B and gospel fusion that fits in well thematically with the film. As with many movie singles, scenes from the film pass by as Blacc performs his song solo.
