It's officially fight week in the UFC, as the much anticipated UFC 229 PPV event is scheduled for this Saturday, October 6th. UFC 229 will feature a co-main event, including Conor McGregor's return to the octagon where he'll challenge Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight championship he never lost.

According to Bovada, the undefeated Russian champ is still favored against the 30-year old Irish superstar. When the bout was announced back in August, Khabib opened as a -200 favorite, while McGregor was listed at +160. With the championship fight now just days away, Khabib is still predicted to retain but his odds have dropped to -155, while Conor is now a +125 underdog.

According to ESPN's Brett Okamoto, Khabib had this to say regarding his first face-to-face with McGregor at their press conference in New York City. "At [the] press conference, he looked like [a] drunk guy. ... It's very interesting how he wants to fight when you use a lot of drugs, when you use whiskey ... How [do] you want to fight 25 minutes? This is not boxing, bro."

The two fighters will be in the same building again on Thursday, October 4 at the Park Theater inside MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The pre-fight presser and weigh-in is reportedly set to kickoff at 3pm local time, though it wouldn't come as a shock if someone shows up fashionably late.

In addition to McGregor vs Khabib, the UFC 229 co-main event will also feature former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson (-360) against Anthony Pettis, who is listed as a +270 underdog.
