It's a very real possibility.

LeBron James is in his 15th season in the NBA but he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down and he could very well still be playing when/if his oldest son, LeBron James Jr., makes it to the league. The Cavs' All-Star forward was asked about that hypothetical scenario prior to last night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, and said he has "go to" stick around if it looks like Bronny is destined for the NBA.

"I'm 33, [LeBron James Jr.] is 13. ... If he has a chance [to play in the NBA], and it seems like he can make it, you got to," LeBron said, per ESPN. When the cameraman mentioned playing on the same team, LeBron added, "Absolutely. And as soon as we do it, go ahead, son. You got it from here."

Last October, LeBron told GQ he wasn't sure he'd still want to play if he was "washed," but would stick it out if it meant playing with or against his oldest son.

"I don't know if I could play washed, but I damn sure would love to stick around if my oldest son can have an opportunity to play against me. That'd be, that'd be the icing on the cake right there," LeBron said.

At 33 years old, LeBron is currently averaging a remarkable 26.9 points, 9 assists and 8.4 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, his 13-year old son continues to tear up the AAU circuits. Six years from now, there's a real chance they're going head to head, or throwing lobs to one another, in the NBA.
