The song has an appealingly loose feel.

With Yung Bans Vol. 5 scheduled to arrive later this week, the buzzing Atlanta rapper has teamed with YSL's Gunna on a new track called "Easter Pink." If you hadn't guessed, the title is a reference to the color of a very specific beverage referenced on the Bans' hook, he rhymes it with "diamonds wet like sink," a very satisfying phrase in its simplicity, especially when spread out over Cassius Jay's meditative instrumental. Bans has a very casual energy to his raps, not far off from peer Playboi Carti, that adds to the appealingly loose feel of the song. When Gunna enters, he's a little more centered, bringing in some of the most distinct melodies on the track and making sure all eyes are on him throughout. However, there's relief when Bans returns on the hook and the song slinks back into its hazy glide, one that seems like it could continue indefinitely.

Bans' upcoming project is expected to feature Juice WRLD, YBN Nahmir, and more. It will be released June 17th.

Quotable Lyrics:
Wake up brush my teeth
Pour that easter pink
Diamonds wet like sink
We done came a long way from nothin'
I was down bad last year, I was strugglin'
