Wiz Khalifa is pretty much the closest thing we have to a rockstar in hip-hop now, with his swagger, stage presence and penchant for pot (not to mention his Kurt Cobain shades) all recalling the rock gods of old. His hit "We Dem Boyz" has been making the rounds the past few months, so Wiz, doing what any sensible rocker would, has just delivered an acoustic version to show his soft side.
Accompanied by Paul Web on acoustic guitar, Wiz sings his way through a short rendition of the Blacc Hollywood cut. Say what you will about this duo's chemistry (Web's suit couldn't be further from Wiz's relaxed look), but they turned the radio smash into a strummer with ease.
