Versace's sunglasses gained massive popularity amongst Hip Hop fans seemingly thanks to The Notorious B.I.G. back in the day. The rapper turned his admirers onto the brand during the 90s through stylish visuals as experiences in his music video for "One More Chance."

The Italian fashion brand is pleasing fans of the retro style with a relaunch of the "Biggie Frame." Enthusiasts can cop the Versace frames for one month only, starting October 8, in-store at Barney's New York. Some countries will also have the shades available for purchase through the luxury retailer's website as well.

In 2011, the brand's boss lady, Donatella Versace, spoke fondly of the New York native during an interview.

"I think Biggie was amazing. He came to my shows in Paris many times, and we'd see each other often. He always used to talk so nicely about my family. I think he was so smart, so intelligent. He had such a mind. So I loved what he was doing and how he was giving people a way to know about Versace—I do think he was giving people a way to know about Versace—I do think a lot of people started to know about Versace because of him."
