Commitment announcements will never be the same.

When it comes to highly recruited high school athletes, whether it be in basketball, football or any other sport, simply sitting down in front of a microphone and announcing your commitment is a thing of the past.

Take it from four-star defensive tackle Greg Rogers who formally announced he would be playing ball at UCLA next year by remaking the classic scene in GoodFellas where Henry Hill escorts his girl through a crowded restaurant.

The 6'4, 300-pound DT ranks as the sixth best player at the position for the class of 2017 according to scouts and he was being recruited by other major programs like Oklahoma, Arizona, USC and Colorado, although he ultimately chose the Bruins in dramatic fashion.
