Watch Tayyib's new video for "Do It (High School Dropout)."

For those unaware, Tayyib Ali is an emerging Philly emcee who recently inked a deal with Def Jam Recordings, having previously operated under Jonny Shipes' Cinematic Music Group.

Impressed by his soulful 2011 single "Do It," the major label decided to release a new visual for it, directed by Matt Alonzo, who's responsible for Tyler, The Creatror's unforgettable "Yonkers" video. It was produced by Tara Razavi and Kareem Johnson on behalf of the Happy Place production company.

The track itself, produced by Teddy Roxpin, has been described as "an anthem for anyone who refuses to let haters or circumstance stand in their way." Watch the original video below and let us know how they compare, folks. Otherwise, stay tuned for updates on Ali's career, and keep up with the young lord via YouTube and Twitter in the meantime - he's just getting started in this game: @TayyibAli
