"Famous" has been chosen as the lead single for Kanye West's new album, The Life Of Pablo, and while it has a considerable amount of pop appeal through a Rihanna interpolation of a familiar Nina Simone vocal, it's also features one of the most traditional hip-hop instrumentals on the album. The gritty, Swizz Beatz co-production is the perfect place for Ye to wax off some DMX-inspired bars, as well as a perfect backdrop to some new bars from LOX members Styles P and Sheek Louch, who have come through with a remix today.
The new version cuts the Rih hook to make room for more bras, but the Sister Nancy outro is still present for a couple of shoutouts at the song's close.
