Starrah and Diplo connect yet again for another wavy song.

Starrah and Diplo are no strangers to one and other by any means. While they tested the water together with previous collaborations, the strength of that have led them to create a project together. While we wait for that to release, they drop the new song for "Swerve."

Back in June, Diplo went to Zane Lowe's Beats1 show to discuss his most recent project with Major Lazer. During the interview he also let it slip that Starrah and himself would be gearing to drop a new project together. While there isn't a release date set just yet, the release of "Swerve" may be an indication we won't be waiting much longer. The two team up on a fun new song that'll have everyone laughing at their haters. With Starrah's airy, auto-tuned vocals over Diplo's bass heavy, minimal production, the two made a solid record together that's promising of what they have coming.

Starrah has been working heavily behind the scenes as a songwriter for the past few years. While we have heard some exceptional music from herself, she's had a hand in writing for a lot of major players. She's had a hand in writing Travis Scott's "Pick Up The Phone", Drake's "Fake Love" and has also done work with Nicki Minaj as well as Kevin Gates.  While her songwriting credits are extensive, it seems like it's time for her to blossom as a solo artist and with this song, there's a chance that this could help launch her career to another height.

Diplo himself has been heavily dabbling with hip hop throughout the majority of 2017, producing for the likes of Lil Yachty, XXXTENTACION, Young Thug, Rich Chigga and more. While Starrah isn't a rapper, she's definitely had a hand in creating some of our favorite rap songs of the past few years. So the pairing between the two will definitely be someting to look out for. Their collab project will be coming out on Mad Decent records.

Quotable Lyrics
Gotta get this paper,
no I don't know when to stop
My lil' baby get it too,
she don't know how to watch
