"We could've been the best backcourt in Lakers history."

Former Lakers guard Smush Parker is looking to bury the hatchet with Kobe Bryant by teaming up with the Black Mamba in Ice Cube's Big3 League for retired NBA stars.

It's highly unlikely Kobe would even consider coming out of retirement to play in a rec league, but even more improbable that he'd do so because Smush Parker wants him to. As many of you can recall, Kobe was not at all a fan of Parker during their days as Laker teammates.

That said, Smush still thinks he, Kobe and Lamar Odom would dominate the league with their knowledge of the triangle offense.

As for the bad blood between he and Kobe, Smush says it's "all water under the bridge," and that the two guards work well together and "could've been the best backcourt in Lakers history."

"I think back then, we were both immature versions of who we are today ... we work well together and I wholeheartedly, no doubt in my mind, know that we could've been the best backcourt in Lakers history."
