At the stroke of midnight, two of HNHH's favorite British artists in Skepta and James Blake will release new albums. Midnight can't come soon enough... fortunately, a few songs have hit the internet to hold us over in the meantime. Three new James Blake songs arrived this afternoon, including the plaintive "I Need a Forest Fire," and Skepta formally released "Lyrics" on Apple Music. Another Skepta has been (informally) released: "Numbers."
Pharrell injects "Numbers" with his characteristically whimsical style both vocally and instrumentally. His humor rubs off a bit on Skepta -- barely. Skepta may be putting numbers on the board, but he wants to remove the board and the concept of numbers entirely from existence.
