Sixers shut down Fultz for the rest of Summer League.

Stop me if you've heard this before, the Philadelphia Sixers' #1 pick suffered an injury before the regular season even started.

The good news is, Markelle Fultz's left ankle sprain shouldn't keep him out of action for too long. The #1 overall pick sent out a tweet shortly after suffering his injury over the weekend, saying he was ok.

Per ESPN,

"The foot's not broken, nothing like that so I'm good. I'm walking around," Fultz said.

That said, the Sixers are still shutting him down for the remainder of the Vegas Summer League and they're preventing him from taking part in basketball activities for the next two weeks.

Check out the Sixers' full statement regarding Fultz's injury below.
