Listen to Shawn Harris' new track, "Shots".

Shawn Harris is getting ready to release his Lafré project, and so far, we've heard quite a few records from the project. The rapper has been dropping new tracks at an enviable pace, often putting out 3 or 4 songs at a time, and most recently sharing the confident "Best Rapper Alive". He's apparently recorded about 60 songs in advance of the project, and is still deciding what exactly will make the cut.

Today he drops "Shots," which builds on the grim, textural music Harris has been pumping out recently, mixing vocal samples with a subtly melodic delivery, while keeping his story-telling at the center of the track. The instrumental comes courtesy of Seventh Soldano. Look out for Harris' new project very soon.

Quotable Lyrics:
That tooly on him
I'm asking that the lord forgive me
Like I'm Skooly on 'em
'Cause I could never stand to be disrespected
