SBTRKT makes a connection with Sampha today to provide vocals on the new record "Temporary View." SBTRKT let go a new EP in March, Transitions, which contained cuts like "Hold The Line." The EP works as a warm-up to SBTRKT's sophomore album (he's only dropped one, and it was in 2011) on the Young Turks label.
Now that we've received this new track, perhaps the album is in motion, although we've got no confirmation one way or the other. The collabo with Sampha takes on the usual sound associated with SBTRKT, soothing, melodic, straddling the lines of electronic.
Staring through the keyhole just to catch some sunlight
Start to take the picture, yeah Im layin' with you
And why would I want to be in anywhere else
