Last time we heard from SBTRKT was on the "r u n a w a y" record, which dropped at the very beginning of January. Today he's dropped a new instrumental, which was premiered during Mary Anne Hobbs' BBC Radio 6 show.
As Hobbs says on behalf of SBTRKT, this record is one of several that will serve as an EP to drop prior to a new album, which transitions between SBTRKT's last self-titled album and his sophomore LP.
"These tracks will form a collection of vinyl 12"s before my next album and its singles, maybe a digital release, too. They'll be out in a couple of months. All instrumental stuff along the lines of the music I put out on Ramp or the early Young Turks releases."
