It's Mine

Rome Fortune goes in over a Rodney Hazard instrumental.

Rome Fortune has been known to work with a range of different producers, but he also rarely works with a beatmaker just once, often coming out of sessions with at least a couple records in tow. Dun Deal has certainly proved to be one of his best matches, as is Cito On The Beat, who worked on the entire Beautiful Pimp 2 project. In Rodney Hazard, Rome has found yet another great collaborative partner, with the producer supplying a tensely building backdrop for Fortune on "It's Mine".

Building from a a humbly skipping rap flow to a more introspective hook that wraps itself around a swirling sample, Rome is challenged by the beat, and as usual, he rises to the occasion.

Quotable Lyrics:
I need every dollar
Lookin' at all my followers
I said, this is this, and such and such
I said, I need it all I know that much
