Reg Mason is a 16-year old artist from Union, NJ. He comes from a punk and hardcore background, which may not be immediately detectable in his current music, but it's an ethos he's carried on. "Thanks to the aggressive feeling of that scene, it molded me to be a better all-around artist even though I make alternative hip-hop," he writes. His new record, "Carry," features some futuristic, shape-shifting production, and Mason's performance is equally difficult to pin down, jumping from multi tracks to Kid Cudi-esque belting. There's a whole lot of potential here, and given his age, there's surely a lot of growth still to come.
