After moving to New York City, Rams found an unlikely collaborator in American Authors bassist, Dave Rublin (who produces under the moniker Little Planet.) Realizing the innate chemistry they had in working together, to two got set on making some tracks for Rams to really cement his vibe onto.
"He laid the beat out in 20 minutes," Rams told Pigeons and Planes. "He's super experienced. He was able to give me pointers and tips to polish up my song and my style in general. We locked in, smoked hella weed, and within two hours we made the rough draft."
