R-Mean hits us with his poignant song titled "Open Wounds", which serves as his personal dedication to the Armenian Genocide. This song has special poignancy given the troubling atrocities occurring currently in Kesab, Syria, which has forced multiple Armenian families to flee the place they once called home.
The song was produced (and later remastered) at the hand of Blind, and the track itself is an exercise in the creation of conscious rap without being too preachy.
If you take a liking to R-Mean's style, check out the recent joint he did with Game, "Lost Angels", and stay tuned for more from the emerging emcee.
A bit of mystery lies in history's eyes
Because in time
The facts and figures get twisted with lies
The Devil try to kiss us goodnight but he hides
