Outside of being one of the most important R&B songwriters of our time, R. Kelly has proven himself as a great performer as well. The seasoned singer is still going strong, guesting on Good Morning America tis week, where he performed his infectious new single, "Backyard Party," before breaking into what may go down as his greatest song of all time, "Ignition (Remix)".
Backed by a live band and a DJ, Kells brought the house down, though it seems like he's being a little more reliant on a backing track than we're used to seeing, probably due more to the setting than his own abilities. He made sure to throw in some acapella at the end to make sure we knew he's still got some magical pipes.
