Earlier this year, Propain shared a track called "2 Rounds" that paired him with Rich Homie Quan over a crunchy trap beat. Now Lousiana's Kevin Gates has hopped on a remix on the same day he shared his solo track "John Gotti."
Like he did on his new solo cut, Gates experiments with several styles of delivery on "2 Rounds," introducing himself in a low, scratchy timbre before letting it rise seconds later into a high-pitched singing voice. Though he may not be as celebrated as Young Thug is for his "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" approach to rapping, Gangsta Gates certainly should be.
