Chief Keef's "Hate Being Sober" was the ultimate ode to inebriation, but now a few years old, it's time we found a new soundtrack to our summer binges, and Popcaan's new record may be it. "Never Sober" is a much breezier record than Keef's and it's the best sound for the reggae artist, who's been bring a certain sweetness back to the genre.
Last year's Where We Come From was one of 2014's strongest debuts, but as dancehall generally is, Pocaan hasn't stopped putting out new music. We're hoping that a new LP is on its way, and as his association with Drake seemingly gets ever-stronger, we're hoping we'll see some kind of official collab between the two.
