R&B savant JMSN has been touring in support of his latest album It Is. but as he wraps up his promotion circuit, he’s turning his musical attention to his side project Pearl. The band last released music in 2014 with their album Open, and “Turnin’ Tricks” is the first single off their upcoming album Closer.
A sultry cut that features the breathy vocals of Alex Demie, the track is meant to channel the vibe of hot summer nights as everyone is out the street looking for love. JMSN’s unmistakable falsetto appears throughout the track, but is by no means the focus. Closer is set to release on August 30, so fans don't have long to wait.
