Bettor loses 15-team parlay at the last second.

The New England Patriots' 7-point victory over the Ravens last night cost one bettor, who threw down $5 on a 15-team parlay, a grand total of $100,000.

The bettor had gone 14 for 14 in all of the other games on his card and just needed the Pats to cover the 7-point spread for the massive payday, and for most of last night's game it looked like he was in the green. New England was in control throughout and had gone up by 20 in the third quarter but Baltimore bounced back, scoring 17 straight points and ultimately losing by the final of 27-20.

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell

"William Hill spokesman Michael Grodsky confirmed to ESPN that it was an all-or-nothing parlay card. As such, the push didn't reduce it to winning a 14-leg parlay; it made the entire card worthless."

So if you're having a rough Tuesday morning just think it could be worse, at least you didn't have $100,000 slip through your hands last night.
