The Kevin Durant era in Oklahoma City is dead and sports apparel stores in the area are scrambling to get ANYTHING they can for all of their KD x OKC gear.
One sporting goods store, Academy Sports & Outdoors, went as far as to offer 99% off on their Kevin Durant gear which priced the #35 replica jerseys, which typically sell for $69.99, at a cool 48 cents.
According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, the extreme discount was a success as they ultimately got rid of all the KD jerseys in stock. There are still some other Durant items in the store price at a traditional discount but we wouldn't be surprised if that turns into a full fledged fire sale before long.
