Andre Agassi's unofficial signature shoe gets a premium revival.

The Nike Air Tech Challenge II hasn’t graced shelves in a minute, but Nike is bringing them back with a subtle twist, courtesy of NikeLab/NikeCourt. Tennis player Andre Agassi popularized the shoe by playing in it during his career, most  notably the bright ‘Lava’ colorway.

This time, the Air Tech Challenge II is getting an upgrade in the form of premium materials and laser cut-out perforations throughout the upper and toe box. The perforations will allow for greater breathability despite the leather and suede mixed upper, and potentially even allowed for the premium materials in the first place since laser perforations would be easier on the premium materials than standard punctured perforations.

SoleCollector has reported that three colorways will eventually release of the Nike Air Tech Challenge II Laser, but only two of those colorways have surfaced. The black/white look is a conservative but versatile look, while the birch/white version is an excellent summer sneaker. Both shoes sit on a white sole.

No release date is available yet, but you can expect them to drop very soon.
