HARD Summer Festival has announced an exciting 2017 lineup that aims to (at least partially) correct the overwhelmingly male lineup announced in 2016. According to Billboard, only four women played last year's festival, a number that has been bumped up to a more reasonable 26 in 2017.

It's all addressed in a new trailer featuring DJ Snake, Claude VonStroke, What So Not, and Party Favor which attempts to parody the excessive maleness present in mainstream dance music culture. Whether it's successful satire is debatable.

As far as the hip hop and R&B-leaning acts on the bill, Rae Sremmurd, Ty Dolla $ign, Migos, Tinashe, Kap-G, Mobb Deep, Mike Will, London On Da Track, Tink, Madeintyo, Charli XCX, Uffie, and 24hrs will perform. Snoop Dogg will do his classic debut Doggystyle in full as a headlining act. As you can see, not exactly an even ratio, but still an improvement over last year.
