Michael K. Williams chops it up on The Breakfast Club.

The OG Michael K. Williams stopped by The Breakfast Club this morning to chop it up on some of his iconic roles as well as upcoming acting gigs. The actor, who is most famous for playing Omar on "The Wire," also delves a bit into his past, from growing up in Brooklyn and constantly getting in trouble, to getting caught up in drugs (he reveals that coke was his "downfall") and getting evicted from his apartment during the second season of "The Wire" and more.

The 55-minute conversation kicks off with discussion of the complex character Williams played on "The Wire," with the actor revealing that it was more difficult for him to get into the gangster mindset and portray it as believable than portray the fact that Omar was gay-- that's just love, as Williams says.

Williams also discusses how playing many of these complex and dark roles affected him mentally, his new gig in HBO mini-series "The Night Of" and a lot more. Check it all out above.
