It’s been a minute since we last heard from Maxwell. In fact, the last time the Grammy-Award winning R&B singer impacted our site was almost two years ago to the day when he released his blackSUMMERS’night album, but that drought ends here today. After teasing a new song & video on IG the past week, Maxwell decides to come through and share a new single called “We Never Saw It Coming,” which is a slow-burning love ballad.
To coincide with the single, it looks like Maxwell is about to release an accompanying video/short film later today via Tidal as well. Tidal teased the clip on Twitter the other day, while announcing its release date of 6/12/18 via their streaming platform (see below).
