Shortly after dropping off the visual to "Freewave 7," Chicago's Lucki Eck$ released his Freewave EP, compiled of his signature trippy, laid-back "Freewave" freestyles. It seems he's content to give a video to each track off the EP, and he's just put out the visual to "Freewave 8."
As far as straight rapping goes, installment #8 is one of Lucki's most impressive showcases, and his style is immediately likable. His "Freewave" videos have an authentic DIY feel but with enough clever camera effects to make them stand out from the norm of low-budget rap videos.
