Lyyke Li's new project so sad so sexy finds her tastefully flirting with the world of rap and R&B while maintaining her core restrained pop sound. Jeff Bhasker, the father or Lykke's child, and the producer who helped shape Kanye West's 808s & Heartbreak and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is on board for several tracks, as is T-Minus, the Toronto beatmaker who first made his name with Drake. Only a degree or two of separation away is Illangelo, a frequent collaborator of The Weekend's who has recently worked with PartyNextDoor and Majid Jordan, who produced "better alone," a slick ballad that comes late in the project. Driven by Lykke's strong, emotional vocal performance, the track at times uses her harmonies as textures that resemble synths, showering over her prismatic lead.

Listen to the full project, which features a guest appearance from Amine, here.

Quotable Lyrics:
Nobody wants to bleed
Nobody wants to bleed, but everybody hurts
Nobody wants to blame
Nobody wants the shame of knowing
They're the ones that made it worse
What are we gonna do?
What are we gonna do when makin' love don't make it right?
It don't make it right
