What do Lil Wayne and Cardi B have in common? Apparently, more than we might think. The summer just became a little more interesting for the hip-hop heads that are planning to attend Panorama NYC Music Festival this year. The lineup was already full of heavy-hitters, from SZA to Janet Jackson to The Killers. But the event lost a fair dose of shine when Cardi B was forced to cancel her performance due to her highly-publicized pregnancy (a real one, unlike whatever this is). Old heads rejoice as Lil Wayne is now thrown into the mix. It feels a bit funny to identify him as a replacement for the new female rapper. Still, he seems to be the dude to hit up when she can't come through. He was previously called upon to step in for her at the 2018 edition of Neon Desert Festival. This might be the beginning of a semblance of their being interchangeability, but we need to keep it real. Weezy is coming through around the 10th anniversary of Tha Carter III. His clout is on a whole other level. We are still excited for Cardi to pop that baby out so she can get back to earning hers.
