Lil Nas X burst onto the scene with his hit record "Old Town Road" which ended up hitting number one on the Billboard charts thanks to the remix with country legend Billy Ray Cyrus. The road to success wasn't always easy though. Lil Nas X's song was removed from the country Billboard charts at first due to the song not containing enough elements to distinguish it as a country record. Since that decision, the industry has rallied behind Lil Nas X and now he's thriving off the success of his hit single.

"Old Town Road" has a remix with Young Thug on the way, although a different remix has surfaced first, this time with EDM artist Diplo. In this new version, Diplo strips back the banjos and 808's that characterize the original song and replaces them with some chimes and melodic whistles that make the track a bit more atmospheric.

The song still features all the verses from the Cyrus remix, so you don't have to worry too much about the song losing its essence.

Quotable Lyrics:

Hat down, cross town, livin' like a rockstar
Spent a lot of money on my brand new guitar
Baby's got a habit: diamond rings and Fendi sports bras
Ridin' down Rodeo in my Maserati sports car
