Kodie Shane, Lil Uzi Vert, and Lil Yachty team up on the dreamy "Hold Up."

Yesterday, Lil Uzi Vert suggested that an upcoming track with himself Lil Yachty, and the Sailing Team's Kodie Shane "ain't real," but regardless of the rapper's comment, the song has been released officially through Kodie Shane's SoundCloud today. While Uzi has raised some questions about the track, it doesn't stop it from being a perfect does of bubblegum rap, with the sugary post-trap instrumental coming from the team of DJ Spinz, D. Clax, and Matty P.

Kodie supplies the delicate first verse, accenting her bars with coos rather than shouts. Uzi and Kodie trade off on the hook melodies, while Uzi loosens up on his verse, leaving a lot of space in his verse, and going for a more rhythmic approach rather than returning to his infectious chorus melody. Yachty enters last, his vocals glossier and more robotic than his peers, and also filled with catchy trills and runs.

Quotable Lyrics:
No I'm not Jordan but I am the GOAT just like Kobe
My car's so fast, 200 on dash, won't test it
Gettin' money, that's a blessin'
Pray to the Lord that every day I be flexin', ya
