Kodak Black has been sentenced to one year in prison after violating the terms of his house arrest.

The legal woes continue to mount for Kodak Black.

According to Complex Music, the rapper received a one-year sentence in a Florida courtroom today after he violated the conditions of his house arrest. Todd Tongen also confirmed via Twitter that Kodak fired two of his lawyers prior to the hearing.

His new attorney Brad Cohen claims that Kodak is "a good kid" at heart and that the allegations in police documentation against his client were "one-sided" and he is not a "danger to the community."

The court also heard from several witnesses, among them Kodak's godmother and Atlantic Records exec Michael Kushner, who says they will hire a full-time "handler" for Kodak.
