Montreal has slowly been rising in the ranks of culture and initiative when it comes to hip-hop. With the work of producers like Kaytrananda, High Klassified and others the city has been gaining notoriety for it's unique sound. However the vocalists side of the game has been lacking in some senses. That seems like it's about to change, Montreal's KGoon has delivered an evocative debut with his trap record Tables Turn. The 11-song set carries bangers after bangers, specifically tracks like "I'm Lit," "Thousand" and "100 Bandz" stand out, but the entire album has verses to explore and enjoy.
"Tables Turn is my debut project, I just wanna make my city proud with this one," says KGoon, "I've been rapping all my life, but I had to work hard until I felt I was ready to drop a full body of work. Today is my birthday, it's summertime and Montreal showing me so much love right now, they got me feeling like I'm the one.. I gotta deliver."
